That said in addition to Le Tronchet I think you will find Pleneuf Val Andre is a beautiful course for its position while de Pen – Guen and Dinard are thought to be good challenging courses. For all the courses you are supposed to have proof of your handicap but you can normally get away without this. Green fees are less than in the U.K. and you can get very attractively priced day tickets including lunch.
We have found several short or 9 hole courses that are good fun to play such as La Criniere at Morieux near Lamballe, full details at Le Verger.
I am told that there are also certain organisations that can offer concessionnary rates on a number of the courses and further information can be obtained from the Ligue de Golf de Bretagne on 02-98-85-20-30 who will give you all the details.
Purely for interest if any of you get a course card could you leave them for our folder, not necessarily those with your scores on! Plus any comments on the courses themselves
