Self Catering in Brittany

You will find Ereac to be a most friendly village with its own bakers,charcuterie/grocery shop, pharmacy,garage, hairdresser, bars and an excellent value restaurant all within easy walking distance.

A most enjoyable stroll from the house is to visit the Chapelle des Rothoeurs, pictured here, on festival days there is still a procession to it from the village church. The interior is interesting especially the wooden ceiling.

There are several nearby towns but the two you are likely to use are Broons or Merdrignac. Both have swimming pools and Merdrignac has extensive lakeside facilities plus La Forge which is on the way to Merdrignac just outside Ereac with a small bar/retaurant and more water sports and a small children's playground.

Our house is at La Ville Bedel a collection of four houses about 800 metres out of the village and hopefully contains all you should all you should need for a quiet relaxing break on your own or with the family and friends within easy access of superb beaches, golf-courses, forests and medieval towns.

The area is ideal for cycling with several waymarked tracks around Jugon.

Try not to miss Dinan, Moncontour and Mont St Michel or for a city Rennes or further afield Nantes and Lorient.
